Emily in England

Hey Hey! Welcome to the wild world of Emily. You can come here and check me out living in "Her Britannic Majesty's realm of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"! That title for the UK is a direct quote from a good friend who's a bit particular about how one addresses his beloved country.

the picture speaks for itself..

"when i die, i may not go to heaven. i don't know if they let cowboys in. if they don't, just let me go to Texas cuz Texas is as close as i've been!"

can you imagine 41 songs about Texas? i can cuz my favorite "cousin" Jordan just sent me 2 CDs worth of songs about Texas!! it's awesome! the first country music i've listened to in 3 months or so... feels good!

this classic postcard is also courtesy of my way too cool cousin. all y'all from the south will be happy to know that it is now the background on my cell phone!

Jordo, what can i say... you've outdone yourself with this care package. texas ranger baseball cards, a pic of sponge bob, a don't mess with texas postcard, some good 'ol american comics strips, some pics from like 9th grade or something, and a few other odds and ends... you crack me up!

as for me i spent this past weekend away at a youth workers conference being renewed and inspired. it was a great time to get away and be renewed through some incredible worship times. and now... back to work!

That's so amazing! What a great care package! I have a "Don't Mess with Texas" bumper sticker from my G'pa. :-) I'm glad to hear you're feeling somewhat refreshed. Been getting daily updates from Cilla on the upcoming Christmas adventure. All I have to say is that there'd better be pictures since K-Palm and I can't be there. ;-) Love you!
